Join Miriam Hlavaty for a fascinating workshop on FASCIA SYSTEM and PAIN SCIENCE.
The fascia system is the construct which holds and connects all the other systems of the body.
It is a key factor in movement dynamics, the seat of your body's awareness and the scaffold of your nervous system. It plays a vital part when it comes to pain.
We will explore two of the four functions of the fascia system. These functions are especially related to pain-experience, neurology and body awareness as well as how this miraculous system is vital for the health of our bodies all the way down to our cellular level.
* This lecture is the first of a 2 part series.
The lecture will be recorded. You will have access to the recording to review the material for 10 days. If you are unable to participate on December 6, you must still purchase a ticket prior to the lecture to receive the recording.

Suzie Hurley and I have a young friend from Westmoreland, Jamaica who is in need of help. In the spirit of collective giving and building a more compassionate world, we are offering a yoga class in honor of Nicholas Wallace the proceeds of which will go entirely to his business endeavor.
Nicholas is a 27 years old small poultry farmer. He raises broiler chickens in his family’s back yard from the baby stage to your kitchen table. Nicholas started with 200 chickens and raised production to 340 chickens with a loan from the Bank of Jamaica. All was going well until the novel Corona Virus hit and restaurants closed.
Being the entrepreneur that Nicholas is, he started going door to door with the chickens and added produce to the mix. People weren’t leaving their homes and Nicholas was back in business, paying off his bank loan again. Then disaster struck, his car was crashed into and a mongoose killed all his precious baby chicks. It seems some children who were helping his mother with the garden climbed over the coop and left an opening for the mongoose. Nicholas had already used his small savings to fix the car. He is now no longer able to pay his loan or buy chickens to support his extended family.
This is where we hope that you will enter the story. All proceeds will go to Nicholas. He would like to start his business up again with 150 chickens every 4 weeks. We would like to help him with that initial spark of yogic light and energy that gets him going.
