Live Zoom classes are offered every Wednesday at 6PM ET and Saturday at 10AM ET.
While Maria makes every effort to adhere to this schedule, soliciting top notch substitute teachers, exceptions may occur. Should you wish to keep up your regular practice during an off week, we invite you to check out our library of pre-recorded classes where you will find various ways to practice yoga on your own.
When Maria is teaching, there's always someone from her team watching the chat comments, taking care of technical issues, and answering emails. In other words, you are being taken care of on all sides!
Saturday classes are energizing and spirited classes for all levels.
Wednesday's Strength and Mobility classes offer the ability to hone into building muscle support around the joints, increase coordination and balance as well as building greater core support.
Added props for strength and mobility classes include light weights, a resistance band, and a resistance loop.
Strength is the ability to create muscular tension within one's capable ability while executing movements efficiently and progressively loading as capacity allows.
Mobility is the ability of a joint to move actively through a range of motion taking into account motor control within the nervous system.
